We’re delighted to announce that the Westminster Foundation has confirmed it will back OnSide Youth Zones with a substantial donation to help further our goal of opening 20 Youth Zones by 2020.
This donation will help OnSide to continue our work of transforming the lives of young people, by giving them somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to and by doing so, raise the aspirations of young people, often from the most deprived communities.
The Westminster Foundation, which represents the philanthropic activities of the Grosvenor family, headed by the Duke of Westminster, and the Grosvenor Estate, has generously agreed to support OnSide with a donation of £25,000.
Jane Sandars, Director of The Westminster Foundation, said: “We have followed the progress of OnSide over the last few years, with a particular eye on the proposals for a Chester Youth Zone and have been hugely impressed with OnSide’s achievements so far. With the focus of our work on two specific themes – youth homelessness and supporting communities – we felt strongly that we should invest in OnSide at this time as it continues to improve the futures of our country’s young people and the communities in which they live.”
