Help choose the new name for Barnsley Youth Zone!
Young people throughout Barnsley are invited to cast their vote, to help choose the new name and logo for their new OnSide Youth Zone.
The amazing Young People’s Development Group has come up with two fantastic potential brands for the Youth Zone: Base71 and The Den – and they are now wanting other young people to have their say.
A huge thank you to the amazing creative agency Bird for giving their time, ideas and design skills to support the young people with the development of these brands.
‘Base71’ captures the essence of a Youth Zone being a safe base to return to and somewhere to feel grounded. It also incorporates the Youth Zone’s post code; BA E71, signifying how the Youth Zone will be the starting point of many new adventures for local young people.
‘The Den’ was developed around the concept that the Youth Zone will be a safe space where experiences and connections start. It will be a familiar place in Barnsley where young people will undergo personal growth.
