OnSide Support Factory Firewalk

4th November 2014 by Onside Youth Zones

Claire Greenwood, OnSide’s Grants and Trusts Manager, is used to raising money for both current and future Youth Zones within our network through grants and trusts.

But now she is raising money in a different form, as she turns up the heat, to Firewalk in aid of The Factory Youth Zone.

She said: “It’s vastly important money is raised for both current and future Youth Zones. When I saw this challenge come up I was eager to give something back to our Youth Zones. I love challenges like this and if everyone can rally to raise as much money as possible, The Factory Youth Zone will be able to continue its fantastic work with the young people of North Manchester.”

Show your support for Claire and the Firewalk by donating here:

You can join Claire and the Factory Youth Zone by taking on the challenge of walking over hot coals at the first ever Factory Firewalk on Thursday 20th November from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.

This event is open to anyone over the age of 13 and gives you the chance to do something unique whilst raising money for the young people of North Manchester. Sign up and receive your Factory Firewalk t-shirt, refreshments on arrival and training before the walk.

Registration costs £10 for members of The Factory Youth Zone, £20 for other members of the public. The Factory encourage everyone taking part to try and raise £100 to ensure they can continue to support their fantastic members!

This can be done by setting up a donation page online  or by downloading a  sponsorship form.

You can sign up online by visiting The Factory Youth Zone website.
