Young People preparing for ‘No Sleep Till Breakfast’

5th December 2014 by Onside Youth Zones

The countdown is almost up…

Young people from the network of Youth Zones are gearing up for this Saturday’s unique Lock-In event at Mahdlo Youth Zone.

For the first time in the network of Youth Zones history, young people from across the network will come together for a ‘no sleep till breakfast’ sleep over event which is filled with confidence building challenges, shared experiences and there will be a host of prizes up for grabs!

The ‘I’m a Celebrity’ style night will even see the young people take part in ‘bush-tukka trials’ which I am sure we will see who are the boys and who are the MEN!

One of the key areas of the night will see the young people given the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings via a video diary room.
The hope is the young people will bond with one another, make new friends and grow in confidence from this unique experience.

There will be live coverage on our social media channel @OnSideNW through the night from 5pm as well as post-event thoughts and feelings from the young people involved.

If you are a young person and you want to get involved in other Youth Zone projects similar to this, you can conemail David.Barton@onsideyouthzones.org or contact your local Youth Zone.
