Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner – Based in Bolton’s Mentally Health Schools Team

An opportunity has come up to be involved in an exciting initiative working in the Mentally Health Schools Team (MHST), across Bolton schools, offering one-to-one young people centred psychosocial support. The post holder will be supporting children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems, using evidence-based interventions. Working in a transparent and empowering manner, the successful candidate will ensure young people are at the centre of the approach and the service is young person focused. This role will promote a Whole School Approach to mental health and wellbeing, working closely with education staff in schools to identify needs and embedding a positive ethos to mental wellbeing.  The post holder will be required to work in line with the iThrive model and principles, offering the right support at the right time by the right service.
