Senior Philanthropy Manager – Horizon Youth Zone

Are you an experienced, high-value relationship manager with a passion for enabling young people to find their purpose and reach their potential? We are looking for a Senior Philanthropy Manager based within easy commutable distance of Grimsby.

About the Senior Philanthropy Manager role

This is an active major gift fundraising role, responsible for creating a family of approximately 34 Founder Patrons each committing to four years of donations at £25,000 per annum or higher. With 13 founder patrons already committed and a solid prospect pipeline in operation, we are looking for a Senior Philanthropy Manager to deliver the remaining income for Horizon, Grimsby Youth Zone. With a ground-breaking event imminent this really is an exciting time to be engaging the philanthropists and businesses in Grimsby to secure the remainder of the income needed to run this state-of-the-art youth club.

To get up and running in this unique philanthropy role, you can expect to:

  • Develop a nuanced understanding of the Youth Zone offer, including how and when to involve Board members, the CEO, existing Youth Zones and young people in fundraising.
  • Research and identify individual and corporate supporters to create an accurate picture of fundraising potential.
  • Achieve a small but defined set of KPIs, including activity targets relating to engaging, cultivating and making the ask.
  • Have the support and mentorship of a community of highly skilled and experienced fundraisers.

Salary £45,000 to £52,000 (dependent upon experience) Contract Permanent, full time: 37.5 hours per week (4 days per week part-time will be considered, salary pro-rata). Closing Date 26/05/2023 Apply today
