Help choose the new name for South Bristol’s Youth Zone!
Young people throughout South Bristol are invited to cast their vote, to help choose the new name and logo for their new OnSide Youth Zone.
OnSide is partnering with Youth Moves on this exciting new project. Youth Moves has formed an amazing Young People’s Development Group which has come up with two fantastic potential brands for the Youth Zone: Beyond and 224 – and they are now wanting other young people to have their say.
A huge thank you to the amazing Bristol-based Lucent Agency for generously giving their time, ideas and design skills to support the young people with the development of these brands.
Below the Development Group explains their choices.
The first is Beyond.
We believe the word ‘beyond’ captures what our Youth Zone will do. It will take young people beyond their expectations and beyond experiences they’ve had before. It’s about young people believing they can go further than they thought they could. It’s also beyond boundaries – South Bristol’s Youth Zone will be fully inclusive. Anyone from anywhere and from any background can join. As you can see, each letter is a different colour and a different font to represent young people’s individuality,
Our second brand is 224.
This stands for Today, Tomorrow, Forever. South Bristol’s Youth Zone is here for a very long time – forever in fact! It will be open today, it’ll be open tomorrow and it’ll be open forever – seven days a week. ‘What you do today will affect you tomorrow and impact you forever’ is the tagline for this brand. The Youth Zone will help young people make positive choices about their lives that will have a lasting impact.
