The foundation exists to help young people take advantage of opportunities and play a full part in society drawing on the ideology, vision, and values of it’s Patron, Sir Jack Petchey CBE who epitomises the saying: “If you think you can, you can!”
Grants are award to projects that benefit young people aged 11-25 and the Foundation has contributed £1.5m of matched funding towards the building costs of Future Youth Zone, Barking and Dagenham.

“We have a particular interest in the East End of London and want to ensure that young people are engaged in positive activities that raise their aspirations. We have long admired the work of Bolton Lads and Girls Club and now that OnSide is seeking a similar development in the East End of London, we are particularly excited about being involved in the first club built on this model in our capital city.”
Sir Jack Petchey, CBE
We recently caught up with Sir Jack Petchey CBE as he supports the first Youth Zone set to open in the capital – Future – Barking and Dagenham Youth Zone.
