International Women’s Day 2019 was on the 8thMarch and this years theme was #BalanceForBetter where women’s achievement was celebrated and aimed to raise awareness for bias and take action to equality.
Kathryn met and spoke with some incredibly inspirational women, including Yvonne Neubauer, Associate Clinical Director at Marie Stopes and enjoyed a brilliant conversation with Dame Angela Strank, who spoke about how fantastic it was to see so many successful women invited to mark such a momentous occasion.
Victoria Atkins MP, Minister for Women, spoke at the reception about how committed both the Government and she personally was to getting women better represented in Boardrooms and throughout the world of work.
