Take a Virtual TourGaining employment is a milestone that many people take for granted, but for a young person making this transition it can be incredibly overwhelming. How do you go about getting a job? How should you behave in an interview? What should you wear? Giving young people the employability skills to succeed, as they move into adulthood, is vital to helping them lead happy, healthy and more aspirational lives.
On Saturday evening (30th Jan 2016) we welcomed young people from across our Network at Wigan Youth Zone to celebrate a second year of outstanding achievement and employability skills development from our Youth Zones’ members. Representatives from each of our Youth Zones were recognised for their contribution on our Get A Job course whether for personal development or achieving a positive outcome of employment, education or training.

The course has literally changed the lives of some of the young people who have completed it, providing opportunities for employment and work experience where they might not have thought possible.
