Take a Virtual TourWe’re delighted to announce that OnSide has extended its partnership with the Barratt Redrow Foundation for a further three years, following a hugely successful first year of collaboration.
Since becoming a national partner in 2024, the Barratt Redrow Foundation has contributed £300,000 to help Youth Zones across the OnSide Network support young people’s wellbeing and nutrition. This vital funding has enabled us to remove barriers to participation, making sure Youth Zones remain inclusive, accessible spaces where every young person can feel happy, healthy, and able to thrive. This funding has directly supported 2,100 young people and indirectly impacted 55,000, through staff training, sustaining the provision of nutritious meals for young people impacting their health and wellbeing and inspiring young girls to lower barriers to participating with youth work.
The Barratt Redrow Foundation’s renewed commitment means we can continue and expand this work until 2028, further embedding wellbeing at the heart of Youth Zone life. From providing nutritious meals to supporting mental health and activities, the partnership is making a tangible difference to the lives of thousands of young people.
OnSide is proud to join six other charities within the Barratt Redrow Foundation family: Place2Be, Whizz Kidz, Outward Bound, Bookmark Reading, Magic Breakfast, and Street League. Together, these organisations share a commitment to creating lasting, positive change in communities across the UK.
CEO at OnSide, Jamie Masraff said:
“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with the Barratt Redrow Foundation for another three years. Their support helps us open the door to life-changing opportunities for thousands of young people across our Youth Zone network. Together, we’re breaking down barriers, championing potential, and making sure that every young person has the chance to discover what they’ve got and where it could take them.”
Andy Button-Stephens, Head of The Barratt Redrow Foundation, said:
“We’re delighted to be renewing our partnership with OnSide. As a Foundation, we’re committed to helping communities thrive – focussing on children, young people, and those most disadvantaged. Our work with OnSide directly supports this mission, giving young people the space to discover who they are, build confidence, and lay strong foundations for adulthood.
We’ve seen an incredible response from colleagues across the business, with divisions regularly getting involved in volunteering opportunities and building meaningful relationships with their local Youth Zones. We’re excited to see this partnership continue to grow and flourish over the next three years.”
With 16 Youth Zones currently open – and another six on the way by 2026 – OnSide’s growing network is here to ensure young people in some of the UK’s most disadvantaged areas have access to opportunities and support from trusted, trained youth workers. Thanks to the Barratt Redrow Foundation’s generosity, more young people than ever can access the opportunities and support they deserve.
