Take a Virtual TourThe team at OnSide is celebrating after winning the Long-Term Impact Prize at the Steve Morgan Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Awards.
The award recognises organisations that have delivered exceptional, lasting impact over the Foundation’s 25-year history, with finalists personally selected by Trustees for being “beacons of effective practice” in changing lives for good.
For more than 15 years, the Steve Morgan Foundation has been a hugely important partner to OnSide, playing a significant role in the growth of the Youth Zone Network and helping to transform opportunities for young people across the North West and beyond. Through long-term investment and support, the Foundation has helped fund Youth Zones, youth work programmes and opportunities that have enabled thousands of young people to access trusted support, develop new skills, improve their wellbeing and build brighter futures.
The award also recognises the wider impact of youth work and the difference it can make in young people’s lives over the long term. Every day across the OnSide Network, youth workers support young people to navigate challenges, develop resilience and gain the skills and self-belief they need for the future.
Jamie Masraff, CEO of OnSide, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to receive this award and deeply grateful to Steve Morgan and the Foundation for their long-standing support and belief in young people. Their partnership has helped create opportunities that genuinely change lives and give young people the confidence, skills and support they need for the future.
“We also see this award as recognition of the power of youth work and the extraordinary impact it can have when young people have access to the right support, in the right place, at the right time.”
The Steve Morgan Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Awards celebrated organisations and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to communities across the region and whose work continues to create lasting social impact.
