Palatine PE Strike up £10,000 for OnSide

18th June 2015 by OnSide

The North West’s 25 leading businesses united last night to raise over £10,000 for OnSide at Palatine Private Equity’s charity bowling event.

Held at DogBowl in Manchester, teams from businesses including; MoneyPlus Group, PwC, KPMG, Pinsent Masons and Yorkshire Bank to name a few, battled it out to see who would strike it lucky and be crowned 2015 champions.

Playnation Ltd set the scene for the evening, arriving in their custom-made bowling shirts – but could they walk the walk, the way they talked the talk?

The answer was….very nearly! The Playnation Ltd team, captained by CEO Adam Hodges, narrowly missed out to eventual winners Pinsent Masons who rattled up a fantastic score of 636! Last year’s reigning champions, Deloitte CF finished third.

This is the third year Palatine PE has hosted their corporate bowling night, in support of OnSide, and their £10,000 donation will help us continue our work of transforming the lives of young people, by giving them somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.

Gary Tipper, Managing Partner at Palatine PE commented on the success of the evening: “It was another memorable night. A big thanks to everyone who came along and helped raise money for a fantastic cause. We are delighted to support OnSide Youth Zones and I am sure the success of this year’s bowling event will drive more continued support in the future.”

A big thank you to all those who took part, DogBowl for hosting the event once again, and of course Palatine PE.
