Take a Virtual TourMahdlo’s young people emphasised the OnSide Network’s passion for building Youth Zones nationally as two of our Game Changers this week inspired youngsters from youth organisations across Wirral.
Ashford Bailey and Shannon Green, members of OnSide Youth Zones Game Changers (Youth Ambassadors) group gave young people from Wirral youth clubs a tour of their £6 million Mahdlo facility – a facility the young people of Wirral will be able to enjoy in their own borough in years to come.
Wirral’s young people from Youth Clubs such as Eastham, Wallasy and Vikings Youth Hub were given the opportunity to join in Mahdlo’s senior session, taking part in rock climbing, trampolining and basketball – just three of the 20 activities on offer per evening.
Following a fun-filled night, the group had a chat with us on camera about the enjoyable aspects of Mahdlo and told us why they think Wirral would benefit from a facility such as this.
