The summer holiday is around the corner, and with six weeks of fun ahead for children and young people, we know that means families need to find ways to fill the time. We know how challenging it can be to find affordable childcare over the summer – but the OnSide Network of Youth Zones has you covered. We’ve put together this handy list of what’s happening at Youth Zones over the summer.
OnSide Youth Zones are state-of-the-art, purpose-built spaces fizzing with energy, and crammed with incredible facilities. All 14 Youth Zones across the network are offering holiday clubs over the summer, giving hundreds of children and young people fun activities to do every day, including sports, games, arts, crafts, cooking sessions and more. They also provide parents and guardians with safe and affordable childcare options – it’s a win-win! There are a number of free places for children and young people who receive free school meals, primarily funded by the Government’s #HAF2021 programme.
