We’re proud to launch #YouthWorkMadeMe, a campaign celebrating the life-changing, long-term impact of youth work. Each week we’ll be sharing the story of a different Youth Zone alumnus from across the OnSide Network, hearing in their own words how youth work shaped who they are.
We’re kicking off by sharing Alex’s story. Before The Hive, Wirral Youth Zone opened, Alex was part of the Young People’s Development Group. At The Hive, she found trusted youth workers, lifelong friendships and a community she describes as family. The support she received helped her build confidence and recognise her own strength.
Everyone’s experience of youth work is different. Whatever youth work made possible for you, share your story as part of #YouthWorkMadeMe and help us show the lasting difference youth work makes.
If you'd like to keep updated by email on news and events from the OnSide network fill in your details below and we will add you to our mailing list.
