Take a Virtual TourAs a network we are focused on the development of a culture that ensures all young people have the opportunity and capacity to have a voice and a meaningful, relevant role in the decisions that affect them and their Youth Zone. Youth Voice will support young people to become active citizens, to be heard and valued within society at a local and national level, and to achieve positive tangible change.
We have been working with six Youth Zones through a previous project (Community Match Challenge Fund) to progress this area of work and now intensively with four Youth Zones in Blackburn, Bolton, Chorley and Warrington, with the support of Four Acre Trust, to create a model to embed Youth Voice within the Youth Zones. We will then roll that model out to the rest of the Network. The model will look at 7 aspects:
