Take a Virtual TourWhat inspired you to join OnSide?
Whilst working for a different organisation, I had the privilege of working with some of the Youth Zones as my delivery partners hence, I had prior knowledge of OnSide and the Network of Youth Zones. Having done Project Management for almost a decade, I was looking for a role that incorporated more of a partnership management element to it. When the Projects and Partnerships Manager role was advertised, I knew it’d be the perfect role for me!
What’s been a memorable moment you’ve had working with the team?
My most memorable moment is watching young people from Warrington Youth Zone perform in a production of Beauty and the Beast, as part of their Burberry Inspire project. It was such a joy watching young people perform with such confidence on stage.
What was the first Youth Zone you visited and what did you think?
Wigan was the first Youth Zone I visited, and I was simply blown away by it! I remember thinking how lucky the young people of Wigan are, to have access to so many facilities, all in the one building, surrounded by supportive youth workers.
