About the role
This is a training role within the NHSE Children and Young People’ Psychological Therapies Training Programme. The post-holder will work within the Mental Health & Wellbeing Service as part of a team delivering, under supervision, high-quality, outcome–informed, focused, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, low mood/behavioural difficulties
About You
You are passionate about supporting children and young people to thrive and have a genuine interest in mental health and wellbeing. With experience of working with young people, you are empathetic, approachable, and able to build trusting relationships. You’re motivated to learn, open to feedback, and ready to commit to both academic study and practical training.
Organised and resilient, you can balance study, supervision, and service delivery, always keeping the needs of young people at the heart of your work. Most importantly, you share BLGC’s values of being caring, driven, empowering, excellent, and fun — and you’re excited by the opportunity to make a real difference in young people’s lives.
