The day I entered Manchester Youth Zone was the day my life changed.
Manchester Youth Zone opened to young people from across the city in February 2012.
With more than 4,000 young people now members, here is a look at some of the amazing spaces within the facility that are now available to young people, seven days a week in Harpurhey.
The Youth Zone is crammed with incredible facilities that young people from across Manchester can access for a cost of £5 for an annual membership and 50p per visit. Manchester Youth Zone provides a safe environment where young people can come and enjoy themselves, enabling young people to raise their aspirations and confidence, to create a happier and healthier generation.
Mahdlo, Oldham Youth Zone stands on a generous site at the heart of the town centre, just a short walk from the bus interchange after it officially opened in March 2012.
