Mahdlo, Oldham Youth Zone stands on a generous site at the heart of the town centre, just a short walk from the bus interchange after it officially opened in March 2012.
Mahdlo is operated by a charitable body, which is governed by young people, representatives of the local business community and voluntary sector, alongside the local authority officers providing a strategic lead, and is a key element of Oldham’s community cohesion strategy.
The Youth Zone is crammed with incredible facilities that young people from Oldham can access for a cost of £5 for an annual membership and 50p per visit. Mahdlo Youth Zone provides a safe environment where young people can come and enjoy themselves, enabling young people to raise their aspirations and confidence, to create a happier and healthier generation.
