Our mission is to empower young people to lead positive, fulfilling lives by providing access to incredible spaces and exceptional youth work, delivered by outstanding people, where they are needed the most.
To achieve this, we raise the funds to build a national network of state-of-the-art, multimillion-pound Youth Zones in the UK’s most economically disadvantaged areas. These youth centres, we call Youth Zones, are staffed by skilled and dedicated youth workers who truly believe in young people – helping them see what they could achieve, and giving them the skills, confidence and ambition to go for it.

The OnSide Network of Youth Zones is a thriving collaboration of 14 independent local charities committed to exceptional, life changing youth work that has a genuine long term impact on the lives of young people.
They have a national reach and come together as a Network to share their experiences, learn and grow – while we provide training and support across almost every aspect of their operations.
Learn about the OnSide NetworkWe asked 5,000 young people aged 11-18 about their lives outside of school, their perception of the opportunities open to them and awareness of services designed to support them.
Here’s what we found.
