Take a Virtual TourIn this exciting and newly created role, you will lead the project management of new Youth Zone projects, collaborating with a range of key stakeholders including: Project Development Managers who hold Council relationships; the Head of Property & Construction who oversees design and construction; and, the Head of Openings Support who provides expert advice and guidance to new CEOs and their senior teams.
You can expect to be managing the project plans and schedules to coordinate activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups, defining and implementing appropriate project governance (including chairing project meetings), managing decision gateways, ensuring effective and transparent reporting of all projects, and, managing and escalating risks and issues. Your role will be to project manage the detail of specific projects from inception to handover of normal operations to a new Youth Zone team, while also maintaining oversight across the wider portfolio of live projects (currently c. 6 projects) in delivery at different stages.
You will ensure that robust project management methodologies and tools are embedded into all elements of pre-opening support creating consistency across multi-disciplinary teams. Regularly reviewing lessons learned from our projects and driving continuous improvement in how we deliver is key to this role.
The role has no direct reports but will include matrix management where required to ensure responsibilities and accountabilities for effective project delivery are discharged as needed.
