Take a Virtual TourWe’re looking for a passionate and analytical individual to join the OnSide team as a Data Insights Officer, a newly created role that will play a key part in embedding a data-driven culture across our Youth Zone Network. Sitting within the Systems team, you’ll be instrumental in unlocking the power of our Salesforce CRM to provide compelling, insight-led reporting that supports young people’s engagement and drives continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with colleagues across OnSide and the Youth Zones to understand their data needs, track the impact of new engagement initiatives, and produce clear, accessible reports that demonstrate the measurable difference youth work is making. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how data informs decision-making across the Network and help evidence the impact of our work with young people.
About the Role
This newly created Data Insights Officer role within the Systems team will significantly enhance our capacity and expertise in data analysis and reporting, enabling us to maximise the value of the data captured within our customised Salesforce CRM across the Youth Zone Network.
The post holder will be instrumental in embedding a data-driven culture, driving analyses and insights to feed into decision making throughout the network.
About You
This role is ideal for someone who can translate complex data into compelling, accessible narratives that drive impact within a youth work setting. You will be passionate about the power of youth work and committed to supporting Youth Zones in increasing their engagement with young people. With a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills, you’ll draw out insights to inform recommendations for the Network and tailor reporting to meet the needs of varied audiences — from frontline youth workers to senior leaders and Boards.
You’ll bring both expertise and creativity to improve data capture, analysis and reporting processes, and will thrive in a collaborative, flexible environment. You will also play a key role in championing a data-driven culture, supporting youth engagement initiatives, and ensuring our systems and reporting effectively demonstrate the distance travelled and outcomes achieved across our Network.
